Change. It’s all around us. In the leaves, and in our lives. The seasons are changing, leaves falling, covering the ground with their beautiful colours. We are changing too. Our moods are changing, the realization that winter is coming, that it’s gonna go back to be minus 30. Changes can be good or bad, it all depends on how you look at it.
There is an example in the Bible of one person who went through a serious change!
His name is Paul, but it used to be Saul. He was on the road to Damascus, going to capture and possibly kill the Christians in the area. We all know what happened next. God showed Himself to Saul, Saul went blind, Ananias came and healed Saul’s sight, Saul was changed to Paul. Pretty incredible right? Definitely.
Saul went from the bad dude killing all the good dudes, persecuting them, to being a good dude teaching the bad dudes, and the one being persecuted. That’s a big change. I know most changes are hard. Moving, changing schools, things like that.
I have had hard changes too. My Dad lost his job and right after that, my Mom was diagnosed with cauncer. I became a parent to my little sisters. That was a big change. But, through that change, I realized that God had a plan for me. I’m not 100% sure what it is, but I have a idea.
We may see change as a bad thing, but remember, that change is for a reason, and though it doesn’t look good now, it will in the long run.
Change. It’s good. It’s bad. It’s God’s plan.
