God is good.
(Read my last few articles to get up to speed)
I’m not exactly sure why I had lost vision when God had thrown some new obstacle in our way. I have realized that God wouldn’t bring us this far to abandon us. It just takes a little faith, trust and patience.
In my last article I used the bible verse from Matthew what says.
“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move.”-Matthew 17:20a.
But really, why do I need to move mountains. I played down the most important part.
“Nothing will be impossible for you.”-Matthew 17:20b.
Now that makes more sense. Although there are a lot of rocks around this place, mountain moving is not why we are here. We are being the Hands of feet of Jesus, doing the impossible together.
After being discouraged about the amount of people showing up to our Youth Alpha course and the lack of meaningful conversations we regrouped and now we are headed in a different direction. The last two nights have been amazing, with youth opening up and having their life spoken into by our leaders.
We have rearranged our food plans and we will end with more than enough food.
Even though it snowed three inches yesterday, it is minus 15 degrees Celsius and, the wind is blowing hard. God is still here.
